WHY I MADE THESE BOOKS
My teachers called me “stupid.” Then I scored highest in the whole school.
Reading and spelling were so hard for me that, to this day, I have never read a book cover to cover. Teachers put me in the slow classes and told me I was lazy and didn’t apply myself. Then in 6th grade, my teacher let me join an after-school class for 8th-grade A students, preparing for a scholarship exam to a prestigious private high school. I scored the highest in our school and won a scholarship I was too young to use.
